Exactly, Rlh -- Sometimes in football the big boys even do that with big time recruits. At Alabama, for example, they only give "non-committable" offers to QBs, even the top guys in the country, until Saban personally has seen them in action (e.g., at a camp). I'm sure there's something comparable that coaches do in basketball.

Is Telfair a qualifier who has three years after this year or a non-qualifier who has to graduate from NWFS and has only two years? If he is a qualifier, he may make sense as he would be a year behind FVV.

DeMeo seemed, in some of the stuff I've read about Stephen Hurt, to be very favorably impressed with both WSU and Steve Forbes -- especially WSU -- so that can't hurt (so to speak) with anyone who's at NW Florida this coming year.

Telfair appears to be off to a very nice start at NW Fl. State. I don't know if he will be in the '14 or '15 class. If '15, somebody to remember.
