                              Dallas County High School power forward William Lee has chosen UAB. Lee will officially sign with the Blazers tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Dallas County High School. Along with an offer from UAB, Lee held offers from Alabama, SMU, Mississippi State, and Georgia.


                              Several of us expected that Lee wanted to stay close to home and this article confirms that, although most of us also expected him to go to Bama, not UAB. Bittetsweet for us. This kid wants to make a difference at a "smaller" program. Just the kind of guy we dream about. Would love to know why we fell off the list and if anything other than distance from home was a factor.

                                Birmingham vs. Wichita.

                                Similar sized cities, although the B'ham metro area is bigger, but one's in Alabama and the other is in Kansas. It would be very surprising if anything other than that was involved.
