I totally agree with you and I see where you are coming from because I have been there. However, I am 120% positive that after seeing him transition from an Nike Elite Summer Team and conditioning, with more focus on small things, he would be a perfect candidate for D-1. He seems to be the complete package. He does a little bit of everything. The kid is quick, bouncy, and can shoot the lights out from all areas on the floor. Plus, WSU has Master's that can teach him everything he would need to be a better and stronger player. I just LOVE the game that WSU runs and I think Trevon would fit in just right.

      This.

And I want to see a string of years with Wichita players on roster like we have Houston players. Productive also.

Remember when MR CLove would go on about another remarkable guard that he was very well aware of? Well Fred VV hasn't turned out so bad so I would be more than willing to give any kid and especially a local kid more than a look see.

My hunch is that Trevon commits and plays at Sunrise Prep for a year and reclassifies to 15' when we have a couple to give. Or we do a five for four like Ron.

            Just a hunch.

Trevon is dynamite and from all indications a great kid.

This is my thinking at the moment as well.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

I heard this morning that Eisenhauer has another kid who might be as good; transferred in from Indiana or Illinois. Anybody know anything?

Tyler Buchanan. Good kid. Quick off the floor, good hands, good shot. about 6'5".

His name is Tyler Buchanan, from Indiana. 6'4" averaging about 20/game. Joined EHS after moving here this summer and blended with the team quickly. Shows a great attitude, works hard, is a good team mate. He's playing post almost exclusively (alternates with Matt Morris) and his minutes are gradually increasing...I expect his PPG average will as well. He's very active, good hands, good ups (dunks with authority). Not sure what kind of perimeter game he has which is where his size would have him at the D1 level. Unfortunately being one of two senior posts at EHS we likely won't see much of a perimeter game from him.

Eisenhower at Valley Center tonight. Trevon had an average scoring night, that included a fairly stellar 2-hand jam on a really nice oop via a set play.
                      FG, 8-14
                      3PT, 2-4
                      FT, 7-10
                      TP, 25

I did not realize that he is the son of Warren Evans. Warren is a big man, probably 6'1" and 240, barrel chested, just a big guy. This kid may grow a lot yet. His dad officiates basketball all over, fwiw.
