Looks like we're getting some love from Scout.

What are you suprised about his #34 ranking or that he chose WSU?

Not directed at me, but I think it's more the validation that Scout thinks highly of Toure as evidenced by the ranking and the player/schools around him in the rankings.

                        • The schools after he and wsu are impressive but the players should be behind him.He played against the best in the country and outplayed alot of the kids who were in front of him.I think its a good list and some of the BCS schools wanted to recruit him but HCGM got it done early. The BCS schools in TX are kicking themselves for sure.

A little foreshadowing needs to be brought back to life. This was from May 9, 2008.

I could see him having the impact PJ did his (redshirt) freshman year . Come off the bench and give the team some really good minutes and provide a spark. Of course with our guard situation next year he may not be able to come off the bench - he may start.

                              5) To summarize my thoughts: Toure has the ability to be a better player than PJ by the time he is done at WSU. It all depends on how hard he works and whether he can be a consistent scorer and outside shooter at the D1 level. My guess is all this will happen and Shocker fans will be very happy but I've only seen him play one game so it really is only a guess.
ok I had to go back thrugh and read the history of this post and found this quite amusing. This scouting report was only slightly off the mark...

Nobody listens to me, but I've been trying to tell you guys for months this kid is the real deal. He's going to muscle up when he gets here and he's going to be a stud. I'll be the one saying "I told you so".

Who is it again who has been skeptical about Toure, Doc? Don't pretend like the rest of us weren't high on him, so you can take the credit for seeing his talent before everyone else. :D

                                Told ya so.
