I think people are saying that Sunrise has a number of D1 basketball players and HCGM is proven recruiter and that eventually we're going to get one of these kids, perhaps sooner than later and it will be fun to actually be able to watch them before they get to WSU.

Well, if Nairn is a junior that helps explain the name. I've seen some remarkable ones -- "Cleanthony" is up there in its own right-- but it's hard to imagine someone coming up with "Lourawls" on his own. That's like a computer geek naming his kid Billgates, or maybe Stevejobs.

I know this subject has been discussed ad nauseum, but I am still shocked, surprised, stunned, amazed, stupefied and astonished that the Shockers have not been able to recruit a player from Sunrise.

I know he signed elsewhere, but I couldn't resist bumping just to see the name one more time. If Cleanthony is a two-in-one, so is Lourawls -- in fact, he can ditch the Tum Tum; when your name is Lourawls to begin with, who needs a nickname? Anyway, good luck to him at Michigan State, and let's hope the Shocks beat him on their way to another Final Four.
