Sebastian Saiz has a Ole Miss offer and just visited them according to Rivals. They have him listed as a 6-9 center.

Saiz has commited now. Ole Miss definitely seems to be using Sunrise as a place to stash their foreign recruits, as I had heard before that Joesaar was placed there by the Rebs.

I wonder if Sunrise is at all interested in local support?

Ole Miss should be easy to schedule some home and homes with.

Strongly involved with Tum-Tum are Oklahoma, Kansas State, Arkansas, Miami, Ole Miss and Iowa. Expressing interest are Indiana, UCLA, Wake Forest, WSU, Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky and others.

Regarding other Sunrise players, @Shocker91: mentioned Ole Miss might of placed Joesaar at Sunrise. He is visiting them November 9th. Recruitscoop thinks he is high on their list of SFs for 2013.

Similar to Marvin Clark, interest in Larry Dennis is picking up due to his reclassification. Rivals' database now shows Houston, Nebraska, Virginia and Washington State involved. No mention of the Shockers.

                Ole Miss*, not Mississippi State.

Sorry. Was looking to post that news, got on, and you'd just posted it. Didn't mean to step on your toes with the correction.

There is an adult web site that can handle any kind of correcting you need. Not that I would have any knowledge of anything like that but I heard it from a friend whos brother heard it from some guy on the internet.:)

Is your friend's brother a general in the U.S. Armed Forces?

                            No...that would be his cousin.

Well, if it helps, your post about an OU-Sunrise connection certainly does not. Jacob Hammond, a 6'10" 230 lb. junior (2014), committed to OU in August and promptly moved to Sunrise.

Also, Roman Young--the son of Wichita basketball "power player" Steve Young (Mo Evans' mentor, among other things)--is playing on the varsity at Sunrise as a 5'8" frosh. For those familiar with Wichita basketball, this may come as a surprise. His other son, Steven (who I do not consider a Division I prospect), has just transferred to Andover from Kapaun.

Current offers for Lourawls are from KU, K-State, Ole Miss, Iowa and Oklahoma. If that is a serious offer from KU, there is indication he will wind up there. If not, I say Oklahoma.

The Shockers have shown interest in three 2014 point guards that are all about the same in talent level, although their strengths are perhaps in different areas. They are Nairn, Jeremiah Jefferson and Omega Harris. The one we know who has interest in the Shockers is Harris.

BTW, Sunrise took a beat down a while back from Prime Prep (Shirmane Thomas) in Dallas. There will be a rematch on March 30th, 4pm at Maize South High.
