I swear some of you are half brain dead…. I tell you guys facts and some of you continue to act like they are my opinions. It’s laughable, I’m literally just telling you like it is in that quote above. Whether you want to hear it about Saal or not , it is what it is.

I like Saal and I like Mills (although I want Mills to prove he can recruit well which will be determined after all the schollys).

I responded because I didn’t want people to think it’s Mills who is choosing to keep everything silent by his choice, it’s Kevin instructing things to proceed in this manner. Just stating the facts for everyone to understand. Not saying it’s good or bad , is what it is.

I believe you are the one saying he is a "control freak" and then you sound upset about not getting any info. I am not one of the guys badmouthing you about your post on "ready for good news". I take most everything on SN with a grain of salt. So cool your jets dude.

A lot of people would donate if things were transparent with NIL and if daily/weekly excitement was produced/shared. Successful people don’t like to hand out checks without feeling good about where that money is going and how it will help.

Every good recruit has dozens upon dozens upon dozens of schools after them… you can’t tell me that it being know he took a visit somewhere would actually negatively impact your chances to land him. If he loves the coach and the program and the situation, he will commit and nothing else will matter. Those dozens of other programs are recruiting the player either way.

I'm pretty confident that the people who matter (those who are major contributors to NIL) know EXACTLY what is going on.

It certainly can't hurt recruiting if other schools don't know the priorities of WSU's recruiting. It certainly could hurt if other schools know WSU's recruiting priorities. There's recruiting to build a program and there's recruiting to prevent other schools from building their programs.

The term "control freak" is an incredibly negative evaluation. It often says more about the person throwing that term out than about the person the term is directed at.

Keeping recruiting targets out of social media and public information seems to be a sound strategy. I don't think it deserves the "control freak" label.

Mills is likely to have a tough recruiting year. He got a late start and didn't get a recruiting staff put together until after a lot of players in the portal were already scheduling visits. That's the way it's always going to be with a coaching change.

Beverly and Cortes are solid recruits. Not home runs, but they're solid recruits. Then some are going to say, "but they were bench players". What are you expecting? That P5 starters are going to come to WSU? That's delusional. Lower level starters and higher level bench players are what's available.

The least important factor in recruiting is that fans know what's going on. Money guys - you can bet your ass they know what's going on. You want to know what's going on - just be a money guy.
