Looks like we now have a significant number of players with good height and solid bodies to bang with just about anyone.

This 2012/13 season is certainly going to be entertaining, exciting, and exhilarating, and the basketball will no doubt be likewise.

When Claudius Johnson was here, one summer I witnessed him do a run from one free-throw line and only one foot crossed the other free-throw line and he floated into an awesome slam dunk. He almost dunked a throw. Can you imagine if he would have been 6'9" tall?

"I want to be a presence inside" said Lufile. "I'm trying to be the toughest guy on the floor..."

I already feel sorry for our opponents.

By the way, shouldn't you change the "Verbal" part of the thread name to (Chadrack Lufile) "Signed", trop?

Looks like he played 5 games for Chipola as a Frosh averaging 5.4/3.4 and then improved to 11.7/8.3 in 31 games for Coffeyville last year.

That's a nice progression although we don't know why he played only 5 games for Chipola or why he RS @ Vincennes (learning the game or injuries?). It would appear that he is fairly new to basketball so he still has a high learning curve.

Can't wait to see him develop over the next two years!

Mentions Ryan Martin in the article. What a great guy Ryan is.

I don't think Chipola listed all games played that year.

                    • Post combo of Hall, Chadrack & EO should give us great flexibility & depth without heavily depending on Hall racking up the minutes.

I think we have a solid four man rotation in the post with Ehimen, Hall, Lufile and White. Two of those guys can face up and stretch the D a bit. All four are capable of crashing the boards hard and playing tough on both ends. I like the way we're looking inside.

                        • If we want to be a little stronger in transition with ball handling skills (full court game), maybe pressing the other team more, etc. we can go with Early as a combo forward.

No doubt we could. And maybe will some. But Early is here to play on the wing. If he really is an NBA prospect, that's where he's going to make his money.

                            • Every time I see this guys last name I think of this line from Caddyshack:

Elihu, will you come loofah my stretch marks?

                              • I dunno, maybe GM's crossed a line here. This could be the proverbial slippery slope. We may find ourselves looking at the abyss. What's exactly is he tryin to do here, I mean do you think we could actually win the Valley tournament?
