He may look good, monster, but those stats were from Coffeyville's site and included an average of about five FT's per game, which is a pretty good sample size. Lots of things can go wrong with free throws: bad form producing bad results, bad touch producing bricks -- and if those two are okay, bad aim or bad concentration.

Let's get him here ASAP and have him talk with Mrs. Marshall -- or maybe with Ricky, our board's resident FT % watcher.

As @shockmonster said, in the video posted by @Ta town: it is hard to see how he isn't a better free throw shooter than the stats indicate. Maybe a matter of nerves?

Thats what I was wondering, but it isn't a small sample size. 61 for 139 is a lot of shots and should be considered a trend, lol. He was 5 for 9 his freshman year at Chipola.

He shot more FTs than anyone on the team. I believe he came in 5th when it came to makes.

Not arguing with the stats and I don't know when the video was shot nor did I view the whole video but at one time, I counted 10 or more shots from the free throw line go through the basket(good form and everything). I don't know how they practice free throws at C'ville but if it looked to me as though he has the ability to shoot free throws maybe consistently if coached correctly.
