“I'm also looking for a coach that is confident in my game. Shooting the ball you can have a couple rough games or maybe a rough half. I want a coach that will still give me the confidence to keep shooting. Coach Greg Heiar here has that in me. He doesn't care how many I miss so that's probably the biggest thing.”

I wonder if HCGH has seen this quote and endorses this thinking. One can help their team is many ways. This is not one of them. All me ball, no team ball, and screw the win.

I'm not trying to make any comparisons here, however thought the following article was interesting. I follow a couple of Toronto Raptor message boards and watch 90% of Fred's games. He's received some criticism for being a "gunner" and a selfish player... the All-Star selection has definitely halted some of that chatter. I remember yelling a few "dammit Fred's" during his Shocker days. Regardless, Fred is a special player and exhibits supreme confidence in himself.

I’m not scared to go 0-for-20, I’m not scared to miss a game-winning shot. I’m not scared to get my shot blocked. I’m not scared to talk ****. I’m not scared to fight. I’m not scared of nothing when I’m out there. Do you know what I’m saying? I’m just playing the game. Because I really love the game and I always have.”"

Some here mention GH name in reference to being a head coach/assistant coach here someday. Also, if we're actively recruiting some of his players, now and in the future, it might be helpful in the decision making of those players.
