I agree, that when we heard that they weren't going to fill the last 'ship, that they'd only fill it for a HR type of talent. I don't think this would qualify as that, but I could see potential value if he's willing to sit and wait and work.
When was that video taken? How old was he then, and how old is he now? How big was he then and how big now? If he was young, his strength and athleticism could have been added to. If he was a H.S. Sophomore, he was a very big Sophomore.

Not entirely sure if the date on the post is when it was uploaded or when the video was taken. But that date was June of this year. So if nothing else, I would guess it was taken in the past year and so fairly relevant.

Well, I'd take a video with a grain of salt. They say he is 6'8 200, but I've also seen he was 6'9, and I question that he only weighs 200. He looks bigger than that. His stat line says he averaged 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 Blocks. We will see if this is even the one. Other possibilities is that he didn't pick up basketball until 8th or 9th grade. Did he go to the biggest schools in Atlanta? Lots of questions that I have, and Videos are difficult to evaluate from.

            Woo hoo!
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Would the gym have been nearly full of spectators in the '20-21 season? Probably not, so maybe '19-20 . But then again I think I see masks?

It sounds like he had planned to do a post-grad year. I wonder if there's a plan in place to have him redshirt. I know that's considered passe, but it would make sense. Instead of going post-grad, come here, work his butt of and practice against Udeze, Monzy, Pleasant, MacFarlane and Pohto and be ready to contribute next year.

Looks to be a late developer who really came on this spring and summer ...

Was initially headed to prep school to reclassify as a '22.

And you have to love how one of the highlights is him committing (and getting called for) an obvious charge.

Westover & AC Georgia forward Isaac Abidde has committed to Wichita State as a part of their 2021 class, and will join the Shockers in the coming season. Abidde had planned on going the prep school route and reclassing to the 2022 class; however, a very good July showing during the live periods gained him further attention from high level college programs, including the offer from Wichita State at the UAA Atlanta event in July at LakePoint Sports. At 6-foot-8, Abidde has great physical tools and

Going through his twitter mentions, it appears other than WSU, he picked up offers this summer from Kent State, Stony Brook, Lehigh and East Carolina.

Yes. He apparently was planning on reclassifying to 2022 until he picked up an offer from us. Had a good summer season. Seems we were still the best offer though.

He's actually got really nice form on the jumper. Clearly not a project offensively. Coach him up, IB!

If it makes anyone feel better, Rivals shows offers from Georgia Tech and Mississippi State. Bradley also was in contact. He took an official to GT last year.

If we don't see him as ready to play for a spot against the likes of Monzy and Pleasant, he better be REALLY COMMITTED to Brown and the Shox. I could care less who else didn't offer him. If he is as good a prospect as it sounds, where IB really liked him and foresaw him being difficult to get next year from really good programs, so we offered our last scholly, and aren't concerned if he sits that he will then transfer elsewhere. Otherwise, it will prove to be a waste of time, and effort, and limit our efforts to recruit other really good prospects next year.

Now, if IB still questions Joe P. and Monzy's abilites to really do the 4 job next year, and he thinks that Isaac is ready to contend for a playing role this year, this would be great.

So either he better be good enough to play right away, or he better be so committed, that he doesn't go elsewhere.
