Wow, amazing full court pass by Van Vleet. He is cool as a cucumber against the pressure and isn't afraid to make any pass. Yes proviso east is expected to win the whole thing, but auburn just took down hillcrest who was expected to be one of proviso east's main challengers for the title in the last game yesterday. Another team that was supposed to contend homewood flossmor has also lost. The city of rockford and the northern illinois conference is always the underdog in the state of illinois when it comes to basketball. They think the competition here isn't as great as its closer to chicago. The stupid thing about that is rockford is only 90 miles away from chicago and the second largest city in illinois. If fred vanvleet was the same player playing in chicago on simeon and playing aau ball for the mac irvin fire he'd be a 5 star recruit. He probably would've got snatched up by Kentucky or North Cal....Auburn has a great chance to win this whole thing let alone just this game........GO KNIGHTS!Comment
