With his long legs, that step-back is virtually unguardable.

But where's Senor Del Rio to comment on whether the long legs are skinny?

You are right it doesn't really mean anything and I would hope Marshall didn't "push" Torres out to clear room for someone else. I'm not a fan of that. What it does mean, is that if one of these guys wants to commit, we can fully offer them a scholarship which is something Minnesota was able to offer Sherfield and we couldn't as of a couple days ago.

I don’t think Marshall is going to leave a scholarship open. Sure, it doesn’t mean Wade or Sherfield will take it but someone new is coming.

    Wstateu, whose farm?
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Thinking Wade would be more helpful to the team than Sherfield.

We need Wade now, but Sherfield will be nice to have. A 4* top 150 guard is always nice to have.

I agree both would be nice, but if we only get 1 I think wade should be it. We have 3 proven guards, 2 incoming recruits, another 1 that should probably be a 3, but will be a 4 for this team. We are severely lacking at the 4 spot. Adding Wade fills more of a need. It also frees up some minutes for Allen to play at the 3.

Both now, we don’t have to debate it

That's like freeing up some minutes for Charles Barkley to play SF, hook. The problem with that theory is that Allen IS a PF -- he just happens to be a PF in a shorter body than most.

Extensive interview with Trey here. Several other high-majors are showing interest and he's taking an official visit to Florida on April 19th.

I’m very excited for next year. If we add Sherfield and Wade...jeez. Obviously far from a done deal on either but it’s fun to imagine.

Is Florida still in the mix? The article seems to indicate he's slated to take an official to Florida on the 19th but if I remember correctly, his visit to Wichita this weekend is his last. Or am I mixing him up with Sherfield. It could happen, I'm old.

I think you are getting the two players mixed up. Don't believe Trey has taken any official visits yet, so he should have five visits left to take if he wishes to do so.

And on at least one occasion, her negativity was the only who hit the prediction perfectly. I've learn to pay attention to Mary as she is very wise!
