This academic / unrecruited walk-on speculation is getting a little out of hand. In the first place, does someone here even know for sure that Armstead is such a player, or that any other Shocker among the 15 who somehow fit into 13 scholarships is? Granted, it's a plausible explanation of Marshall's scholarship magic, but is it really anything more than that? And second, it's almost impossible for anyone who is sufficiently on the radar screen to get a mention here to qualify as "unrecruited" by WSU anyway.Comment
