I will add a couple of things. I think that Hall will mainly play the 5. EO will play 10 maybe 15 minutes (if more, it will mean he's playing very well-I hope so). I think that White is getting his feet this year but he has the ability to be a very good 3 pt. shooter (how many times have you seen players who have talent their freshmen years and then become quite valuable their second year) next year. We'll see how much Early, and Hawkins play the 3. I could also see a combination where a shorter player like Baker plays the wing 3. It'll be interesting but there should be lots of young talent and combinations.

That 9 goes 7'0, 6'8, 6'8, 6'8, 6'5, 6'5, 6'3, 6'3, 6'1. Thats a thin front line considering White and Early are 2 of the 6'8 players. I see Hawkins especially getting chance to earn some minutes.
We HOPE Early is ready. I think he will be offensively, but will he be up to the challenge defensively?
I expect FVV to get minutes early in the season, then maybe go down some once league play starts.

Isn't it great talking about a young man, Green, that many on this board feel is a strong RS candidate. He is ranked around 30th by TexasHoops. Toure, who apparently knows him to some degree, believes Derail to be a "big time player." Green's HS coach says his basketball IQ is "off the charts." He has had several big scoring games this year for Klein Forest. In one game hit 7-8 from 3 and is shooting 45% from behind the arc for the year.
What a great find...and he might RS...wow. It just shows where this program is. Not many Shocker teams in the past could afford to RS a talent like this.
GO SHOX!

Green, along with Hawkins and Early are an interesting study in terms of what positions they will play at WSU. Green & Hawkins seem identical in body type...both 6-7, 200. They appear to have similar attributes; long, lean, athletic, quick on the jump, good 3-point range and can get to the rim.
Early, although 6-8, 220 and more the body type of Hall, seems to be a good fit at SF, along with Green and Hawkins. Early, by all accounts, has the quickness and athleticism to guard the SF and has the perimeter offensive game to go with it.
There is no doubt Early will have to play PF, due to his size and ability around the rim, but it sounds like he would prefer to play more on the perimeter. With Hall a likely candidate to play the 5, the Shockers will need Early's talent at the 4. It appears White will be on track to play reasonable minutes at the 4 as well. I don't see much in Anacreon that leads me to believe he will log much time, so it appears to be Early and White.
Can't wait to see it play out.

Green is really starting to shine statistically. It's a good sign to see that his production is starting to meet his potential. Hawkins, Early, and VanVleet have been statistically very good for some time. Then there's the mystery recruit, Henry. If we're going to have a mystery guy, I'm glad it's an athletic 6-10+ Nigerian jumping jack!Livin the dream
