Actually, the person who broke the story is the Creighton fan. Look at the time stamps on the tweets. Its not the CollegiateHoops twitter account, he tweeted it out at 7:11. and BlueJayCafe tweeted his tweet at 6:04.

This story is being brought to us by a Creighton fan, I'd take this with a grain of salt until we get evidence. He won't release his "source" or provide a link to anything substantial.

Lets not be like MSU and act like fools over a rumor to CUSA. Please.

Its not shocking if he comes here. We do have the best junior college recruiter there is. And, three of our staff are from Chipola which is known for second chances.

I'm at work so don’t have time to check out CollegateHoops. It does sound familiar. If he is a reputable source I don’t think he would solely rely on the CreightonCrazy fan.

On the other hand, I could of put out a tweet sometime ago that Hubbard may come to WSU.

Oh I'm not saying its not already a done deal, Trop. I'm also not poopooing on him coming here. I'm just saying, lets not jump the gun and look like MSU here and jump on a rumor created by someone who has no real credible source to give. I'll wait until a new outlet releases something, or someone quoting an actual person.

CollegiateHoops is trying to fact check right now. I think he's going off the creighton blogger.

I hope this is a case of internet fodder.

I would hope HCGM has better targets than this gem. 8)

Probably shouldn't judge someone based on a glance and see the word felon next to their name.

Read that, and it might change your mind about him. Everyone makes mistakes, some greater than others, but to not allow someone to grow as a person because of a mistake is short sighted. I think if he does end up here, we can be sure that the coaches know what we're getting. I don't think they'd sign someone that they feel is going to be a hindrance to the team with off the court issues.

Hasn't WSU been going after PFs and Cs this summer? Has WSU been mentioned besides twitter today and Heiar friending him on facebook?

I have no reason to say this isn't happening, but I haven't seen much indication to prove this is happening.

This guy is 26 years old right? Spent a few years in the pen, probably has seen some rough stuff. Went to a couple of jucos and was an ALL AMERICAN. The guy is 6-5 and looks tough. IDK how many years he has left, but if its more than one, and he wants to ball with WSU then HCGM would be crazy to turn him down. The man could be an enforcer, a small Clemente. The main thing is he has a 3.2 GPA and has kept his nose clean since his release. He'd definatly scare the holy crap out of some players in the valley aafter some time in the weight room with KR. Shoot, have him grow a baron davis beard. This dude will be scary in the right hands, esp HCGMs hands.

It says he committed to Iowa, so I would discount that tweet as complete fodder.

Read the first post of this thread so that you can keep up with the rest of the class.

He committed to Iowa. Signed a LOI, goes to campus, asks for a release, he wants to be closer to Virginia his home. They release him, a week later reports are that he talked to Nebraska, but they turned him down. He's looking for a team.

25, 26, 27 are considered the prime years of an athletes life. Here are some athletes the same age as our friend Hubbard

So he was enrolled at Iowa and then all of a sudden he needs to leave. The reason originally given is to get closer to home and then he decides to move to Wichita, Kansas? I hope you guys at least sign him up for a geography class or two. :D

From all the stories and speculation from Iowa fans, he was told to leave. Wonder what happened in Iowa City?

Here's what I think, but I'm probably wrong. He wanted to get closer to home so he asks for his release so that any school he talks to doesn't get any recruiting violations. But upon inquiry, no Eastern school would take him because of lack of scholarships or his past. So now he is looking for somewhere to ball, and few schools have an open scholarship and WSU is one of them.
