  • Anthony Hubbard to Morgan State

Greg Heir is a new facebook friend of Anthony Hubbard who is transfering from Iowa. He is eligible for immediate play next year. Anthony is a 26 years and in 2003 committed a felony being a look out in a robbery I believe. I'm at work so can't get to deep into this right now. He's a baller and I don’t. believe has had problems since the incident.

    A 6-5 guard/forward.

He says he wants to be closer to home... which is what I would say after living in Iowa for a month.

He played junior college bal last, l in Maryland. I don’t know where his home is. He did say perhaps closer to home. I guess he is eligible next year since he hasn't played yet for Iowa or maybe he never enrolled.,

He's from Virginia, so WSU would be farther away, not closer. He's probably a very good player, wish him the best of luck, and hope that he does have his life turned around, but....pass.

i read about this kid earlier today on espn.com

averaged 20 and 10 in JUCO.

He's from virginia though. I doubt we see him here.
Iowa announced Thursday that Anthony Hubbard, a junior college transfer who spent nearly four years in prison before earning a Division I scholarship, has left the program.

Nebraska was in the mix for Hubbard right before his Iowa commitment and they are once again in contact with each other.

Word coming out that Nebraska will not pursue him again. Pretty interesting story even if we are not involved.

26 years old and a baller. Bet that he's pretty hardnosed too.
I would take him in a heartbeat.

Probaby will give him needed time to adjust to major D-1 play and learn the Shocker system.
