    James Akinjo 6'0 PG 2018 to Georgetown

    Former UConn commit before Kevin Ollie was let go. Rivals reported that Georgetown, Tennessee, Providence, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia have all offered since his de-commitment. Verbal Commits reported the WSU offer, but doesn't list a source (kid doesn't have twitter). He reported today that he would visit Georgetown "soon." #97 in the 2018 class on ESPN, #106 on 247 Sports, and #112 on Rivals.

                That's the idea. When I started seeing new PG offers I figured the writing was on the wall.
                Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

                        FadedCrown you said “looks like we might stand a decent chance”.

                        Now you are admitting you are basing opinion on us landing Lomax. We are recruiting hard, but I suspect people will be underwhelmed at first. As is the norm with most Marshall recruits. He wants the ones he wants. And he will get them.

                        There is always a chance. Just ask Lloyd Christmas. What our odds are on landing Akinjo are impossible to know. Obviously, good enough to throw our hat in the ring although that doesn't mean the odds are good. Akinjo has a lot of folks after him. The more crowed the room of suitors is the lower your chances are of being the one he picks.

                      Not sure who was on him before he committed to UConn. Looks like he picked up most of his offers after getting his release.
