Minus Chadrack, who will be here soon. There have been no steps backward with the no-shows of Henry and Hawkins. This team has all the components of a special group...this year. There is quality and depth at every position and I can only imagine the coaching staff is chomping at the bit to work with these guys full-time. Get ready boys and girls...Shocker basketball is alive and well.

Just that he's going the JUCO route, don't know what school though. I guess the school will really depend on if Henry has any wish to come to WSU. I'd laugh if he ended up at Chipola.

Two silver linings in that article.

1. Uwadiae is going to a very well connected JUCO, which means to me that he is going the route set out before him to eventually come here. I doubt we will lose him...other than the two years of eligibility.

2. The points about Hawkins in the article make me think the coach thinks we may still get him! Obviously, its not an ideal situation, but it looks promising enough that I can't forget about Teddy just yet!

Yeah I'm just going off the fact that coach didn't act like it was a done deal just yet. Apparently, they are still trying to get him here. I really don't know what to make of it, but its better than nothing.

Did you even pay attention to the article? Teddy can also pay his own way the first year and either play or grayshirt depending on his eligibility status (as was discussed in the article and has been discussed on this board).

I'm holding out hope! Teddy was an awesome get. I really don't want to see him go, and the article makes it clear that its not completely over.

Too bad about Uwadiae, but oh well...at least we know now
