Uwadiae going to s "connected" JuCo may be a blessing in disguise. He wasn't likely to be a significant contributor his first two years. The development he may get in two years (withoiut using a WSU sxhollie) may be worth the wait.

Did you even pay attention to the article? Teddy can also pay his own way the first year and either play or grayshirt depending on his eligibility status (as was discussed in the article and has been discussed on this board).

Teddy initially wanted to go to CU and was dropped. He had numerous D! offers and will not be paying for college regardless where he goes. If NCAA doesn't clear him, he will go juco.

I'm just curious as to how you formed your assessment of his talent and ability.

You did leave yourself 'an out' when you included the words "could be" and that's fine.

I just don't want to lose him. Teddy may not be a guy we would expect to start over who we've got by any means, but I want him in the system as long as possible. Based on the recruiting profiles, it looked like Teddy was a pretty good pickup. He would round out a freshman class that would certainly be worth some hype down the road. Henry going JUCO works for me because he is obviously more like Ehimen than Garrett. He needs a lot and he can pick up enough of what he needs at JUCO and Marshall can finish him off when he's closer to his potential. Teddy might be a little more ready than that, so getting him in the system ASAP seems benefitial to me. No reason to jump on anybody for hoping he still makes it here...and you never know who might be a big help right away by surprise.

Not jumping on anyone. We'd all love to see Teddy show up as I'm pretty sure we're all in agreement that he'll help down the road. ShockRef just asked why mum felt he'd help right away and linked to a video that showed 2 or 3 uncontested dunks. There's only one FR I could see helping right away but he's not needed to as we have lots of depth there. But he still could depending on rotations. Personally, I've never really slotted any of the FR to have much if any PT.

If Teddy still shows up I may have to report us to the NCAA for excessive disparity of talent with respect to conference affiliation. I mean, how does one get all this talent to show up on the same team, at the same time? They must know that only 5 players can be on the floor at any one time? Perhaps he convinces them that in the MVC we play six?

I think I found the weakness in HCGM's recruiting machine.. he doesn't have an off button.
