The documentary was one of the most compelling films I've seen!I also believe the best way to honor those who perished in the crash is to BRING BACK SHOCKER FOOTBALL!

I watched bits and pieces of it and it was a very impressive documentary. I was being recruited by WSU at that time (my Senior year of HS) for track and XC so I remember the crash very well. Next time it's on I'll make sure I watch all of it.

KC Star article 10/18. It gives an insight on Dave Lewis that I wasn't familiar with. I hope he finds the peace he deserves.

Mitch Holthus had his weekly Chief report today where he always ties in a relationship to Eddie Plopa.

Seemingly, the Shocks used to play a lot of games on Thanksgiving and Mitch is going to chronicle each of those, once a year, through 2023.

Behind Linwood Sexton, the Shocks beat Colorado College on route to a Raisin Bowl appearance in 1947 and the Shocks were coached by Mitch's son in law's late grandfather (I think I got that right).

Remember, you can't play on Thanksgiving if you don't have a team.

Bring it back, Theodore, bring it back.

Class act by Arkansas. Regardless of the score, it sounds like the Shox had a lot of people in Little Rock pulling for them and giving them support.

Wichita State’s 1970 football team, Arkansas players to remember game following plane crash

"Wichita State played its first game after the crash against Arkansas on Oct. 24, 1970 at that stadium. Around 40 people connected to WSU are expected to attend for the weekend."

We can't ever relive this game without football. As Mitch Holthus is want to say, bring it back Eddie (Plopa), bring it back.
