If we can somehow get Zac and Ty to finish and stay under 80 then Dustin should be ok and now Connor has to be thinking about winning this....we just might be in the mix. The teams ahead of us have a lot of holes left.

The Shox finished off their round very strong and are currently in 7th at +32 and are only 3 shots out of 5th right now. Baylor and LSU are tied for 5th at +29 but Baylor still has a few holes left to play so they might drop further. Looks like the worst case scenario unless Baylor lights it up over the last few holes will be that we will need to make up three shots on LSU or Baylor tomorrow to get into the top 5.
McHenry had a fantastic round and is currently sitting at -2 for the tournament which is currently in 2nd place. Hope the guys can play well tomorrow!Comment

Connor tied for the lead and WSU alone in 6th, only 3 shots out of 5th place and what would be an advancement to the National Finals.
Only 10 shots separate 2-8 so it is wide open tomorrow but the Shocks are right there with as good a chance as anyone to advance.

This will be an interesting day. WSU is in some of the first groups to tee off this morning. Grady goes first at 8:50 and Connor last at 9:30. They are joined by the teams from LSU and Northwestern, both of whom WSU is chasing. We have every opportunity to put pressure on the teams ahead of us.
There will probably be a time that the teams behind WSU will be ahead because they are so many hole behind.
Let's go to Nationals.

Shocks are on the course and RIGHT in this thing.
They are tied for 6th as we speak, only 2 shots from the top 5 and they have played more holes than the most of the teams in front of them.
Grady Pauls has really stepped it up big time today, making the turn at even par. That will take a lot of pressure off the other guys.
Connor has had a tough start at +2 but he is still in 3rd place.

Its really tough to get a good feel for how the team is doing because the course is playing very tough indeed.
We aren't making up ground on the teams we are paired with, but we aren't falling away much either.
The problem right now is 2 fold......5th place is getting further and further away....we're 13 shots from 5th right now. Problem 2 is that Connor has come apart. He's gone from leading to a tie for 10th at +8 on the day. It doesn't even appear we'll count his score today for the team.Comment

Well, a bad day for the Shocks. Neither Connor nor Dustin could break 80....the Shocks will finish 8th, out of the money and Connor won't be advancing to Nationals.
Still, a solid season and with Connor and Dustin returning, there is plenty to look forward to next season as well.
