Ok, so that eliminates KU, but leaves quite a few other suspects.

But previous posts suggested that it was people associated with WSU football from the 80's.

And these interests conflict with WSU having football? Does anyone know what those interests are? Seems interesting, since apparently these interests led to threats of physical harm if this young man continued his pursuit of intramural football.,

That is the part I was pointing out is unlikely.

Maybe @pinstriper could lease out one of his genuine, alien-crafted crop circles for a practice field/fund raiser?

I could never get the 30-year grudge to reconcile in my mind, so I kept coming back to this theory.

I thought I was just being a conspiracy nut, so it's good to know I'm not a nut. At least, not in this context.

My guess is, most of the students on the WSU campus know whats really going on. If the random student who told me this stuff knows, then I'm sure half the campus knows the real reason why the young entrepreneur's idea fell through.

apologies, CLUB football. Still not hearing how this "threat" rises to the level of physical threats. Not doubting, just trying to figure out what the threat is.

Is there any chance the real reason the idea fell through is because it was not a good idea?

So allegedly something is going on about a relatively insignificant Club Football idea that is widely known but is still too secret to make even an anonymous message board post except in the most veiled terms that are long on innuendo and very short on any real information. Is there a point to all of this?
