Don't go and it is certainly no where near the Team A / Team B schism of the early board, back when we actually knew names and the board was less than 100 members of a very small community...

how the hell does a team like UNI, in the middle of nowehere, with zero resources, continue to pump out players, coaches and teams a tier above Wichita State? We must be doing something terribly wrong.

I will admit, when MT left for a&m and marshall came here, I thought we were getting the better coach, and that may someday be true, but a&m is #10 in the nation and this was a dissappointing loss in what is turning in to a dissappointing season. We don't seem to be able to get the big win.

When a team has it's best offensive game of the season against you, maybe you aren't a good defensive team!

Not a fair comparison. TX A&M will always out-recruit us. The benefits of being a major university in TX and affiliated with a BCS Conference.

Quite fair. A&M has to play Mizzou, KU, Texas, KState. Wehave to play UNI and MoSt.

It's not a one time thing anymore. We've lost 2 straight at home. A place where we're supposed to have an advantage. Clearly we do not. Clearly our guys don't bring their A game night in and night out against weaker competition.

We have no playmaker.

We have no point guard.

We have no post player that anyone fears.

Our leading scorer is averaging 11 ppg.

Our leading rebounder isn't even at 6 rpg.

This isn't a fluke or an occasional thing, it's a pattern. Our team just isn't that good and to prove it we've lost every single game we've played against better opposition.

I'm not a doom and gloom type of guy usually. But this team has proven to me that it just doesn't want to be very good.

I'd be willing to say a lot of people thought MT could do well there. College basketball's popularity and profile has grown tremendously in the past quarter of the century. It was only a matter of time that the second highest profile university in the state of TX would eventually get better.

We are seeing the importance of the point guard, specifically a point guard knowing the system. Hannah was a juco exception we need to ge away from the jucos at this point of HCGM's tenure.

Im not going to lie, I'm rooting against MT. If for no other reason to make him feel worse for getting talked into leaving and not being comfortable. I like the guy, but do feel he left us a little empty. I am rooting for Colorado in the B12 though!

I actually think we play better on the road. There's less pressure.
