Crap indeed. I took the dog out before we left and the driveway was already iced over out here toward Andover. Did a test run, slid a little on the side street and slid on the driveway. Not going. :cry:

First game in memory we've missed due to weather. Snow is one thing, ice is another. Just not worth the risks.

We all picked a win including the oddsmakers. This loss hurts bad to the bone. We have tougher games than this yet to play. How will the Shockers respond to adversity and possible injuries? Stay tuned

Did I just get lucky on the roads? I didn't notice much of anything. People were being cautious but neither I, nor anyone I saw had any problems at all last night driving. I made it to and from the game in about 30 minutes. Usually takes about 20-25.

Dunno, but it was pure ice way out on the west side, with a nice coating of wet mist on top of it. About broke my ass just walking to the car in my driveway, then slid down the driveway as we backed out. Called it quits right there.

I went to get my hair cut at 6 out on Maple and Maize and just getting there was a little treacherous. By treacherous I mean everybody wanted to drive 10 miles an hour.

I'm usually not one that complains about the weather but it was a little slick last night. I didnt even take my son to the batting cages as I had planned. But mainly because its way out northeast and if I drive there Im taking 235 all around.
