Thought you guys would be interested in hearing this, mainly because Gottlieb says that you guys "may have the best fans in the country"

Get the latest NCAA basketball news, scores, stats, standings, and more from ESPN.

On the left hand side, near the bottom, under podcasts. Go to the 1/5/11 one and it's after the 31:30 mark.

Nice to see a little love for both teams.

Although, Gottlieb thinks we'll have no problem against the Bears. I think that's a bit of an overstatement.

      ... No really, deuces.

Now let's just hope the crowd doesn't lay an egg on national television...
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

I don't think there needs to be any concern about the crowd this Sunday.

The crowd has been waiting for soething to get loud about. Crowd even got into it against UE when they cut an 11-point lead to 9 at one point.

The fans are ready - and probably even hungry for a more exciting game than we've had in CKA so far this year.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Yeah, that's right.....I'm calling Shocker fans out for being weak this season. Prove me wrong Sunday.

I agree 100%. I'm calling them out also. I was even told to sit down at the last game. In 12 years of having those same seats I have never been told to sit down! The fans are starting to piss me off. Get loud and proud people!!!!
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I know what you guys are getting at, but aren't you kind of preaching to the pulpit here.

Besides, I have a real hard time knocking the Shocker fandom. Their large numbers through thick and thin years and their support have given us this reputation.

I know, I know....I know the fans here are the good ones....I just wanted to vent.

I walked into the Drake game later than I ever get to a game (had to wait on the Anthem) and for the first time in 4 seasons, I felt like the game mattered....there was excitement in the air.

Of course that disappeared once the music started. :-x

Gary Parrish - Friday look ahead...

If you have had enough about Kemba Walker, don't read this article. Even so, it is always nice to be mentioned with Kentucky and Michigan State.
Spoiler Alert: Bruce Willis was dead the whole time!

+1000 -- the music before introductions absolutely kills the spirit in the arena. It's really sad actually.

You guys are so correct... it sucks big time. I absolutely hate it and I'm glad to hear others feel the same way. Thought maybe it was the "old fart' syndrome.
