i stopped reading the threat at this point.

its statements like this which make it obvious you are an idiot when it comes to basketball. there is no further evidence needed. i am sure you would have gotten kicked off your team b/c if a crappy player like you shot that many times you would lose...

again, i didnt read any farther in the thread than this insanely idiotic post...

how many points did he score in the next game?

i wish you had gotten kicked out of watching basketball games...

Wow. Somebody's off their meds just a tad.

It would seem obvious that my comment was WAY over your head, as you missed the point entirely.

And as RMK once said, I've forgotten more about this game than you'll ever know.

      Have a nice day, swish.

Late or early makes no difference man........

The one name that crossed my mind was Aubrey Sherrod.

        He was pretty good.

My goodness could he shoot...probably the second greatest shooter in GWAL history. Any guesses who this Titan grad believes who is number one? I will take a tongue-in-cheek page from swish...you'd have to be an idiot not to say Ricky Ross. You know for Aubrey not to be on an all-time Kansas top-5 the top-5 has to be pretty special. He was fun to watch in HS and at WSU. Quality person as well.

If my memory serves me accurately, Aubrey was Co-MVP of the Micky D's All Star Game with another player who was quite formidable by the name of Michael Jordan.

Back to my fleeting South high memories of Ricky Ross. My recollection was he was MVP of 1979 Kansas-Illinois All-Star game at Levitt, when he scorched Illinois with 42 points as Kansas won in OT. I'm just going off memory here, but the Kansas team had the likes of Ross, Carr, Reg Klitzke, Kelly Knight, David Piehler, Mark Welch among others. Illinois was no slouch with Isiah Thomas, Terry Cummins, Teddy Grubbs, Darrell Walker & Russell Cross. What a great game that was, as the good guys won about 118-116 or something like that...Oh what memories.

I think we actually barely lost that game. I did not witness it, but those who did were in awe of both squads and exclaimed- "What a game"

I was actually there...I know it was 30+ years ago, but I remember the game going into OT and us winning. Now you have me questioning my radar memory...thanks alot FSF.

You see one now and then, mostly a guard that is outstanding, but the level of athlete has pretty much improved across the board, so standouts just don't happen as much as they seemed to in the past. Kevin Durant comes to mind as an outstanding Post player in recent years, which is a little surprising in a way because he did not possess a NBA type body then, or even now.

Durant was never a post player BTW.
