TCU to big east

It is my understanding that both Cincinnati and Louisville are loosing more money in the Big East than they did in C-USA. I heard Cincinnati lost 5 million on football last year and both schools have had to raise tuition to cover the higher cost. My source is ESPN radio, so I don't know how factual it is. If anyone has some hard numbers I would love for them to be posted.

As the whole realignment debacle displayed, The Big XII doesn't care about increased competition. It cares about increased leverage in a TV deal by adding larger TV markets. TCU does not deliver Dallas - UT does.
The only schools that make any sense are Arkansas, BYU, Memphis, Air Force, or New Mexico. Jerry Jones wants a conference championship game, and he wants it at JerryDome. The Purple Wrath shall cometh.....and that right soon.

Did you all miss University of Denver joining the WAC about a week ago? A western school without football has entered an FBS conference. Now, there is a precedent for it to happen.
I'd really like to know if ADES and the Shocker admin are shopping us around.

I remember once when lutz threw out the idea that gene Stephenson would make a great AD. For wsu. I think he was right.

And exactly what conference should WSU move to?
The WAC sucks big green donkey dongs; that would be a terrible move.
Let's hear some solutions insteady of whiny, school-girl complaints.
Football would potentially open doors elsewhere.
Otherwise, the Valley needs to look at itself and figure out what to do. I wish they'd bring back the scheduling mandate.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

I have always thought that there were enough schools in the Midwest area that did not have a football program, but had a good basketball program, where there could be a decent basketball conference formed from it. At least better than the MVC at its current state.
Wichita State
Bradley
Creighton
Xavier
Butler
ORU
St. Louis
Dayton
There is 8 right there, with solid basketball programs/cities/fanbases to facilitate a good conference. Am I wrong somewhere? I may be because I am just doing this off the top of my head. Maybe MSU or ISU red would still join and keep their 1-AA football in another conference.
Just brainstorming..Goo Shockers

Colorado couldn't deliver the Denver TV market, and Colorado State certainly couldn't either. Utah would have been a nice fit, and BYU's no playing on Sunday thing might case a few scheduling headaches. But that's why mid-level athletic department stooges get paid the big bucks, right? The Purple Wrath shall cometh.....and that right soon.
