Here's the deal wsushox1. I thought you would never ask. The fight resulted in a great marriage!!!!!!!

Back to the topic at hand. I must admit. I had Kyles and Toure' penciled in the 2 and 3 starting slots next Season. Now that Mr. Kyles is in his "Shocker Zone", let's hope he continues with his consistency this very Season.

Now here is the kicker. The past 2 off-Seasons, most every time I witnessed DK in a pick-up scrimmage, I would give reports how he impressed me the most of all of the players present. Thus to see these effective skills now in game situations in a structured Shocker Team effort, I am elated and let's hope it continues and even improves!!! It is early but we all really are liking what we are seeing thus-far.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Through three games DK is much better offensively than PJ ever was. I would compare Murry's all around game to Cooz, but Kyles is a pure scorer! He is the definition of the perfect college SG through three games this season! His percentage is ungodly high, he dunks, he blocks shots, he has a cross-over dribble...in short, you can't stop this kid! He completely takes over the game any time he wants!

Now three more games from now, his average might drop to 11 points and he might be sitting next to coach, but the boy deserves some credit! He Is Superman

I think he can guard Kemble Walker. He can block shots after getting beat. ;-)

murry is better. DK is athletic like cooz but murry is skilled. teams havent been keying on kyles like they have murry. the best thing about DK is that it will take some of the attention off of murry.

We have too many offensive weapons for any one player to be the man every night. That's one of our strengths. Yes Murry is skilled, as is Kyles among a few others.

Well, the way I see it, DK was quiet against Virginia because he had played 3 games in a row where he scored in double digits. If teams are smart and have looked at video, they know this. I just think finally he earned their respect enough to be guarded aggressively.

I agree that Toure is a slightly better all around player, but David is pretty hard to stop when he's firing on all 8 cylinders.

What I liked about DK against Virginia is that he did not force things trying to get his numbers. He no doubt had Virginia's attention, but he was perfectly willing to accept what he could get in the flow of the game and allow his teammates to pick up the slack.

I don't know much, which I'm sure many of you will agree to, but what I think we have is a cadillac in our driveway. I'm not talking about just DK, but the team as a whole is going to be fun to drive up and down the street. Let's enjoy the ride!!!

Well if they decide to key on those two if it could open up huge nights for Durley, Blair, Stutz, Hatch, Ragland, Smith, Williams and Ellis. This team is so deep and talented at every position that you can't just shut down one area and hope to contain the team, unless you can play off the officials.

DK made a comment on his Facebook that he had never been guarded as close as he was for the Virginia game. So this was a learning experience for him.
