If we happen to lose, the implosion will be felt on the mainland. I think we will win, but if we are down at the half, I would not be surprised too much.

I have an uneasy feeling about this game. I can see us winning by 20 points and I can also see us losing by a basket. If this game is close going into the closing minutes of the game, I wonder how this team will react after yesterday.

At this point I would settle for Stutz showing up. I'm a fan of GS, but you have to admit his play has been crap so far.
If I remember correctly, I saw the same thing in GS early last year. The thing that cured it was making a basket. And lot of the set plays at the beginning of games would go to GS I think for this very reason. That first made basket seemed to change his approach the rest of the game. Not wanting to make an excuse for him but I say first couple times down court get him the ball in the post.
I had season FOOTBALL tix... did you?

Let WSU lose this game and see if doesn't matter at all. I think this is a game they have to win, even if it doesn't "count".

I disagree, if not only for their mental health.

Garrett can only give what he's got. What I mean by that is yesterday was not a good matchup for him. He is slow & methodical...he can get away with most of the time in the Valley, but with big, physical & athletic front court players, he will get what he got yesterday. Early in the game he attempted low post moves that got the ball knocked out of his hands, or his shot blocked. Mad Hatter made a good observation in another thread. He talked about how Paul Miller, who is similar to GS, would do other things to help WSU be effective. If the matchup didn't favor him to score, Paul did the other things giving him value on the floor. Hopefully, GS will get that soon.

If we were to lose, it wouldn't count on the RPI, but it would be looked at, and looked at, and looked at to the very end. It would effectively PULVERIZE our at-large hopes.

It's the regular season now. Every game is an important game.

I'm betting that our guys are mature, tough, and resilient and our coach will be making the right adjustments...

                  WSU - 72
                  Chaminade - 57
                  Deuces Valley.
                  ... No really, deuces.

Stutz got abused by Tx Southern's big men, he got abused today. I love the big guy, but something is going on in his head. Perhaps a confidence thing? Or maybe the pressure of being looked to as a leader. Who knows? And those Chaminade big guys look pretty decent. Hope he gets it together by tomorrow, but I don't know.
My grandpa told me on the phone that "That tall White boy, is in another world."

                    I laughed.

I don't think it will happen, but I won't be shocked if we get blown out tomorrow. Chaminade is far from a pushover.....FAR from a pushover.

                      Prediction FAIL.
