That game is highly anticipated in a lot more places than around the conference.

The MSU at Tulsa game on Friday will be MSUs third in four days.
I like your chances against Tenn. They've got some off-the-court issues that aren't resolved, plus they choked against DII Indianapolis a week ago on the court. Any Valley team that can knock off Pearl is ok by me.

At Butler to boot. Butler had not lost a home game in a couple of years.

                !

At Butler, no less. That's just weird.

How could a team lose at home to a D-3 school and then win at Butler? This win is good for the Valley but means nothing in the long run to EU.
                  Deuces Valley.
                  ... No really, deuces.

If there had been a betting line on this and someone had put $100 on UE, they'd probably be a millionaire today.

Farmers Almanac said the sun was going to shine all day & night in Evansville yesterday.

Makes you wonder how good Butler will be after their championship appearance.

Butler was also without PG Ron Nored who suffered a concussion in their last game.

Let's face facts, don't respect your opponent, go long stretches without scoring, live off yesterday's successes and have a key injury or 2 and everyone can be beat by anyone.

And Evansville can beat Butler. This isn't that big a surprise.

Evansville is still going to be playing Thursday night. And they are still a drag on the Valley, and they still should be in DII, and their mascot still looks like a pimp.
