OK already, I get it ,you don't agree with ''media naysayers'' but you still have them.Sporting News is the only outlet I know of voted the Shocks into their top 25.There are several other media polls AP,ESPN,UPI,Yahoo Sports,MSN Sports,Fox Sports,ect... that didn't vote the Shocks into their top 25.I don't know what you call them but to me they're naysayers. I said the Shocks have to prove to them they belong and I'll be happy when its unanimous.

All the major media polls had the Shocks receiving Top 25 votes. They may have not made the Top 25, but people had them in their individual Top 25's.

I think our poll rankings have been way more than fair. UNI received less national attention at the beginning of their year last season and they had just come off a Valley title. We have question marks and some unproven abilities in the guard department. Our offense also is unproven.

Being a near unanimous pick to win the Valley is a lot of respect right there. It's way too early for the "media naysayer" stuff.
