    Recycling at its best.

Or we can just let RJL link us back to same topic and make it a viscious loop. :)

I'm really not that suprised by the slow start. There's a lot of new players, a new coach and a new complicated system to learn. It's unrealistic to think the Shockers were going to come strong out of the gate. We have a great coach and he is bringing in good talent. In time Shocker fans will be quite happy. They are just going to have to be patient. I'm sticking by my Shockers 100%.

On the other hand, the first time I came to Tucson was in January of 1972. When we left Wichita it was 30 below chill index. When we pulled into Tucson it was t-shirt weather for this snowbird and I vowed I'd move to Tucson sometime. Within 6 months or so I moved to Tucson. So I guess in a way I am a "fairweather" fan now, just for a little different reason than the subject of this thread.

Plus you need to stock up on the butter (now not the cancer causing kind in microwave popcorn) for the popcorn.

            BINGO!

That message board isn't the reason for me getting disgruntled with fair-weather fans, but you're exactly right about the message board I used to frequently go to.

And you're absolutely right about the pathetic KU/KSU fans.

No there are not that many stupid people out there, it's just one or two people that have enough time in between humping their own mother that they can comment on kansas.com. They are so pathetic that they spend like 30 minutes on one article typing 20 WSU-bashing comments. Now that's sad.

                throwing a tantrum.

You are entitled to your one blind sided opinion as what a fan is or how everyone should act. But settle down and stop trying to enforce your dogma as the only way.

As far as I recall, other than Tyrone's comment, only one other poster made any reference to dropping out. So what's your problem? Your questioning of Shocker fan loyalty to the members on this board leaves a lot to be desired.

Personally, I'm glad we have such a wide dispersion of comments and discussion. That's what makes this board great and this country.

Stymie it, and we end up with a little, "Adoph".
Dude, you must not have read nearly as many comments as I have. I cannot even count how many negative, fed-up type comments I read about the Shox this past weekend. Plus, everyone I talked to face-to-face was just disgusted with them. I guess I did throw a tantrum. But ya know, I expected some posts like yours. I knew that I would get some congrats, and I knew I would get some like yours. It's hard to speak to the public (especially when venting) and have everyone hear it and "filter" it the way I meant it. I guess I just want everyone to stop complaining about the Shox' two losses.

Sorry, next time I'll just label it "Stop whining about two losses during the Nov. 16th weekend"
