By BiGOLBADBALLA recapitulating his cupcake remarks, it almost caused me to regurgitate my black and gold kool-aide through my snoot in laughter. Yikes!! We will declare TMI on that. I concur with "Another Shocker" about the Valley of Death. Yes, the Shocks will be very solid with quality depth and experience. However, if we come on any given night, versus any and all Valley teams, especially on the cold and lonely road, with a lackadaisical lack of focus and concentration, the results will cause some of us here on SN to be dangling our participles while having melt-downs simultaneously which is not at all groovy or something we dig.

I'm happy to hear that no one thinks about the team having one of those "da" games, where nothing clicks, bad clock management or a stupid pass or "can't hit the trey" will get in the way of a victory.

Agreeing that all basketball game are not played in heaven with all the breaks going our way.....I hope that some of the above mentioned types of games will be at a minimum this year. Being a realist who considers the possibility that everything may not go 100% our way in every game, I only hope our coaching, during the week of practice, will seek and teach alternatives to game plans that go haywire because of an unsuspected turn of events.

Quote me, drill me, do whatever to me but thats how I see it. I don't think we will win at bradley(our one trip up game) nor at UNI, or at Creighton. I hope the prove me wrong but 16-2 is gonna be TOUGH.
