    I haven't seen the 10-11 team play yet so i'm not too gung ho on me making a prediction. but i do think all of our regular season games are winnable.

        Just reminding some that we have a little bit of a "regular season" home winning streak going on coming into this season. 17 last season I think? I cannot remember how many from the 08-09 season.

          Loss at Creighton and UNI plus one or two others (MSU and Bradley?)...not Ill St.

          Loss against Michigan St., SD St, and Washington or similar school is likely...is Tulsa any good?

          23-7 plus 2 or 3 wins in MVC tourney.

              ANYTHING less than 16-0 at home will be deemed unacceptable, imho.

              I expect "call in social services" beatings, and nothing less.

                  Here it comes............ (first off, the 29-4 record is not accurate with his predictions. It should read 29-6.)

                  Well, actually, he's not too far off. If we really feel we are the Valley favorite, a gaudy conference record is certainly possible. 15-3 is probably a stretch though. I don't see a win in Omaha and I could see another possible unexpected trip-up (at Illinois State perhaps as he noted or a slip-up at home even). I think this team has the capability of winning the conference, so I'll put us at 13-5 in Valley play to just to be safe, although 14-4 is possible.

                  The UCONN game is HUGE and I think it's a toss-up. However, UCONN may be a little down this year. A loss to UCONN may actually increase our win total in Maul, not quality wins though. If we do beat UCONN and lose to MSU, I don't see us beating a potential Washington. Conservatively, I'll go with 1-2 in Maui.

                  SDSU is a likely loss which leaves the rest of the schedule. And since it's so weak, a lot of wins are gonna rack up. 22-8 should be the bare minimum when it's all said and done. 23-7 is possible.

                  I think jdmee is really throwing the dice out there in St. Louis. I could see a repeat 2-1 scenario. And what does that leave us? Another Selection Sunday sweating it out...

                              Now that I have awakened from my dream:

                              23-7 (14-4 in the MVC), but I think we have the potential to do better than this. Team leadership and chemistry will be the key to a great season.

                              We win our first ever MVC Tournament title in St. Louis. Shocker fans attend in record numbers.

                              NCAA Tournament very difficult to predict. At our likely seed every game will probably be a toss up or with the Shocks as a slight underdog.

                              I still think Sub will renew his season tickets.
