Games of interest for week of Nov. 18th - 24th

Valley went 1-0 yesterday. Some decent games today for the Valley. Would be nice if Illinois St could find a way to knock off Indiana (although doubt it happens).

Another game of interest for some is that TX A&M is playing against Ohio St in the championship of the pre-season NIT at 6pm on ESPN2

I wasn't watching the game when he got his fifth, but from the way Royal made it sound, he got his fifth foul and then T'd up for his 6th.

His 4th foul was a bad call in my opinion. Walker touched the ball while his teammates were mugging the guy during the shot.

The "T" was Walker's fifth, since it counts as a personal foul.

Beasely deserved his 4th foul. As Thomas was taking it up, Beasley reached forward (not straight up), and hacked Thomas on the shooting had. That will get called everytime, no matter how much SIU fans like to protest "That's not a foul! The hand is part of the ball!" ;)

ed hightower was the ref....

good 'ole eddy was the ref that called the maui invitational champinship game too. any questionable calls I always wonder if he has a grudge against a certain team, kinda like he does (or seems to) agaisnt ours.

but who knows.

Hightower was on the game, but it was Tim Higgins who whacked Walker. Walker mugged the GM player in the corner and an obvious foul was called. As Walker was walking away, he started yapping about it. Then he said the magic word and Higgy nailed him. Walker requested it and the old dog granted his wish. 8)

overall good day for the valley with wins over Mississippi State and Iowa. but the lost to SDSU(?) looks terrible but Illinois State's lost to Indiana was reasonable.
