No, having your best player transfer out because he was being blamed for the team's failures while the coach's relative gets a free pass is not a case of addition by subtraction.

So I guess that means they think Illinois State will join EU and Drake in the bottom 3..

But Illinois State lost potential POY candidate Eldridge along with other quality starters. In fact the players they lost were better than those that SIU lost. So they are working on multiplication by subtractions....or something like that.

Losing a player like P'unk is addition by subtraction. This doesn't add up.

No kidding. If losing Dillard and Booker is addition by subtraction, then losing Eldridge and Odiakosa must position Illinois State to be the Valley favorites.

I think it would put them in line to challenge for the Final Four

It's no secret that Joel (the author of the top 144) is somewhat on the Saluki bandwagon. He's been over to Salukitalk a few times and did chats with the fans...etc. I think that is clouding his judgment. It's like he can't disappoint his few groupies. He's had them higher than they deserve a couple times in recent history.

If SIU is better than RPI 200 - it will likely be because of Teague.

He's gonna have to stay on the court for more than 17 minutes a game. For their sake I hope he's gotten into better shape

Evidently Teague spent the summer working out with the football team and doing some running. It's reported that he's lost 20 pounds.

He's looking fairly fit (still a bit of excess weight) in the videos and images in that thread.

I just don't think UNI has anywhere near the material that Creighton does. I will be STUNNED if the Jays finish lower than the Panthers.
