Coach mentioned that San Diego State is a very solid team right now. The Maui tourney had a killer cast of awesome teams. Yikes! I'm glad we will have a more experienced team next year. Now is a wise time to have these tough games!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Looking at San Diego St...they were 4th in the MWC. According to realtime rpi, they have an rpi of 36. They only lose two seniors (one who is the 7th leading scorer and one I didn't see on the stat sheet, just the roster) Sounds decent to me. That will be a very tough game.
san diego is tied as being one of the greatest cities i've ever been to. (tied with vancouver)
great weather. all of you traveling fans will love it.
i've got a friend that is stationed north of san diego is Camp Pendleton, he's a big shocker fan. if he's not in Afghanistan during that time, then im sure he'll be there with friends!

the future, Martin said the Wildcats may also branch out to Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita.
“We’ve engaged in conversations there,” Martin said. “I don’t want to speak for (athletic director John Currie), but he’s receptive to it and I’m receptive to it.”
Martin did not elaborate on when a game could take place in Wichita, but the Wildcats have not yet scheduled a rematch with Alabama, and owe the Crimson Tide a neutral-court game within driving distance of Manhattan.
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. In Friday's KC Star Frank Martin confirmed that he is favorable to a game with us in Intrust Arena.
:good: You are alright in my book Mr. Martin. And you'll move up another notch if that game happens.

That game would be way cool. In the future, I would like to see a weekend Shocker hosted tourney with 4 teams. How about Tulsa, Oklahoma State, and K-State? Or some old Valley teams from way back when such as St. Louis, Louisville, Cinnci, Memphis State?
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
