WSU vs. MSU - Game thread

Good game Shox. All we can do is survive in the Lou and we did. MSU is a good team, they did win 20 games this year. Shox fought and on to tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the Steve Howe 2nd chance to forget about all the bad thoughts that sit in our minds when we think of St Louis..... Well, at least as far as Shocker basketball goes.

Stutz & Durley are unstoppable we just feed them.

Need to get better on the defensive rebounding

DW is easing my mind a bit about next year's PG situation.

Ricks is a thug and a punk and deserved every bit of that Stutz pick.

I am expecting a big game from Murry tomorrow. He showed some glimpses of what I love about him. Driving to the basket and making plays and free throws. Only had 1 forced trey from my count. :good: :good:

That was a game the MVC hopes was seen by a lot of people.

Very intense. Very entertaining. Played hard and played well.

Congrats on the win guys. Just watched it on TV. Very good game by both teams but you guys got it done. Very impressed by the amount of Shox fans in the Scottrade...half that place was yellow & black. You guys travel extremely well.

Up next are my Redbirds in a tough game vs. Indy St. Hoping we win obviously, as that sets up a classic fight vs. you guys. As I said awhile ago on here: I do, and yet do not want a Redbird/Shocker matchup in the semis ;-) No matter what, best of luck to both our teams. I unfortunately won't be able to see any of the semi games tomorrow due to a recent work commitment, so I'll be extra upset if in fact we do win tonight and get to face you guys tomorrow.

Again, good job on the win tonight. If our teams play tomorrow, then I must root for my Redbirds obviously. But if we fall tonight, or if we win and get to play you guys and you beat us tomorrow, then add me as a huge Shocker fan the rest of the tourney & postseason.

Of all the other Valley teams I think most if not all of us have a keen awareness to the quality you all bring to the court....good luck!!

Great win, great basketball game to watch but a pain in the butt on your nerves. I'll have to admit Stutz is becoming a force and I didn't know if that would ever be the case. Great game Garrett, keep it up!

That's an attitude you can't help but respect. I think it's pretty obvious Stutz knows when his game isn't what it can be.

Tonight, we played with purpose and was in control of our own destiny. That cat ( Ricks?) that grabbed Hannah's jersey for the "big I call" had been hand-checking Hannah so hard and often with no calls that I was elated to see that happen. Mo State has some solid players and they play "gut-check-hard-nosed ball and hustle."

You know, if you want to try and find one positive about the injury to Kyles, its that Williams has been able to get some good minutes and is looking pretty darn good. I'm looking forward to see what he can do this year.

OMG, coach just said Williams headed to hospital to have his insides x-rayed because of that play where no foul was called and he apparently got drilled in the stomach. So, no foul, but player has to be sent to the hospital..
