One last observation - am I the only one that is 100% sure CH didn't foul. The ball came flying out of the BU player's hand before there was contact. I watched it super slow-motion since I thought that was the case when they showed the replay, but whatever...

There was no foul. Clevin kept his feet, and the guy who made the call, correct me if I am wrong SR, was either A) out of position to make that call B) Not his call or C) both.

Manisoutofhisasso sold contact but Clev stayed on his feet and hands were straight up.

Uncredibly bad way to waste a solid comeback.

Guy on VT has the last game scenarios worked out....our game matters not, according to him, as to where we finish. Rebirds win, they're 2nd, lose and they're 3rd.

I'm not sure about that since right now we hold a 20 point tiebreaking advantage, but his work seems solid so I'm sure he's going to be right.

Gregg need not hang his head on this game. His guys played well and has won the fans back over. We were crying for effort and we got it.

The refs can shove it up their ass as far as Stutz getting mugged is concerned though.

The only reason there was effort exerted in this game was due to HCGM reaming their ####es out at the under 12:00 T/O.

If he had not totally embarrassed them on the sidelines, they probably would have let BU run them out of the gym.

Oh yea, they finally woke up (in a D-1 basketball game mind you) and played hard after that. But why did it take GM totally going off on them to make it happen?

I don't know but they DID get going. Stop with the 20 minutes crap. They closed the delta for about 30 minutes of that game, and lost because they dug a hole in the first 10 minutes or so. It was 30 minutes of effort at an away court.

Kung Wu is definitely on something. I think he's sniffing some Lynn Marshall. I'm sorry but isn't it the coach's job for the team to get up from the get go? You say Marshall did an excellent job of firing up the team in the last 30 minutes (30 is s a stretch btw), so does he somehow get a pass then in the first 10?

This team plays like their season is already over. They seem to like to dig themselves a hole and then take pride in fighting like heck to climb out of it. They simply have not yet learned to make things easy on themselves. I'm still predicting a 5 game winning streak starting with SIU, and next year they will be very very good.

Indeed they did crap the bed the first 10 minutes. They lost to Bradley by 19 points in only 10 minutes. Then .. they beat Bradley by 19 points over the next 30 minutes (tied with 11 seconds to go). That's not spin, we all saw the game. It took a lot of effort to come back like that (we are in agreement they never should have put themselves in that position in the first place).

Now go suck on a whistle somewhere Ref. :)

He righted the ship, even though he shouldn't have had to. no disagreement about that.

30 minutes is not a stretch at all. At around the 10 minute mark we finally started closing the gap that we created (the delta was down cut form 19 to 12 at half = 7 point swing our way). Then two more 10 minute quarters each cutting it by 6 more.

No, you just need to stop looking for reasons to pile on. Everyone was frustrated for a while there, but calling a 30 minute effort a 20 minute effort, and nitpicking every single play is just getting old.
