I don't see any signs of that. But I did see you guys play earlier in the year. I watched you beat UNI. That's not the same team out there. I think it's confidence. Confidence can be a fragile thing for young players.
BTW, Wesley is a dirty punk of a player and deserved to have an elbow shoved down his throat.
So are you telling me that I can't become a Shocker fan too? I'm a big time college basketball fan. I follow and cheer for many teams. Or is being a Shocker fan an exclusive club that I'm not welcome in.
btw Wesley is physical on the court. He refuses to get pushed around by anybody. I know him personally off the court and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
You might just wanna take a short hiatus and show back up later in the season. I'm sure you will be welcome.

He's about as far from being a thug as you can get. Look, I watched the broadcast of the game and I can understand how you all feel the way you do. Most of our WAC opponents hate him too.
I read through the whole game thread and bit my tongue. It's not stuff I haven't read on an opponents board before and it's all good. I can definately see things from both sides.

Ya thanks. I can accept that. I'm ready to not discuss the Utah State game anymore. It's run it's course. Time to put it in the rear view.
To simplify my thoughts on WSU at this particular point I think 2 things:
Both of these things can be vulnerable in a young team.
1. The pressure. The pressure to earn an at large bid as a mid major program is immense. It comes to a point where you feel like you can't lose a single game. That's not easy for a young team to handle especially when the media starts talking about it profusely.
2. I think the loss to Evansville let some doubt creep in. When teams lose confidence they are a step slower and unsure of themselves not wanting to make mistakes.

That's good to know. He is not a thug. He just plays like a thug (at least in this one game). Maybe that was out of character for him. I have no idea.
Nevertheless, I was impressed with USU and, hopefully, they will make it to the dance. They are the type of team that can really play havoc with the brackets.
Good luck.

Originally posted by ShockCityFrom what I saw, he is a thuggish dirty player. You can play physical and tough and not be dirty and a thug. There's a difference. Throwing elbows is not playing tough, it's playing dirty.
Or you can just label and call him names if that makes you feel better

That's fine. It's your opinion.
