How in the world could a team play so flat when they have a NCAA tournament bid at stake?

They owe an apology to Shocker Nation for that display of pathetic effort.

I don't care so much that they lose if they give it their all. They clearly weren't fully engaged in this game.

If there was a team to give Evansville their one win, it's us. I can't think of too many times this year we have imposed our will on our opponent.

We "play" with our opponents, we have no killer instinct. And how I can say this with HCGM at the helm, I have no idea.

Anybody that think WSU is going to win 3 in STL is on drugs. This team has never played 3 solid MVC games in row yet.

I'm definitely more pessimistic about it now. I guess I'm in a 'Prove it' mode now.

If we didn't wake up with some of the losses (drake) and almost losses (indiana St) then this team is Sleeping Beauty and there is no prince charming within 1,000,000,000,000 miles. Not gonna wake up anytime soon.

Think it's definitely time for a shakeup:
Stutz in the starting lineup.
Demetric taking some of DK"s minutes.
Possibly even KM getting a few minutes - just show some hustle.

Start Stutz and Blair along with Hatch and Hannah. Not sure what to do at the 2 spot. Maybe go with Bryce Mayes.

They didn't. They played as well as their talent allowed.

WSU simply did not come to play tonight and that's two in a row.
It's a disturbing trend and it's occurring at the worst time possible.

However, there is not question that Evansville played harder than we did and they wanted the game much, much, much, much, much, much, much more than the Shocks did.

Evansville played terrible. They suck and they showed it.

nope just solid fundamental basketball.....went inside and penetrated when that didnt work...90% of the shots were within 7 feet of the basket and rebounders ready on both ends of the court...no fancy just hard nosed basketball.

not they didnt suck...that was just basic solid basketball...nothing fancy..and if that sucks...id like some of it here
