Call me silly, but I prefer watching a "battle royale" over a "romp".
Have you not followed college basketball outside of WSU this year?
No, not this year. I've been crazy busy. Why?
Because the loss of P'unk is an immediate plus/help/positive for Creighton.
Aw come on, that's just a subjective opinion. I've been watching valley ball, and he clearly was one of the more skilled players, even though he has a terrible attitude. Isn't he their second highest scorer this year, going into the suspension?

True they may be better off from a morale standpoint, but skill-wise this doesn't help them at all. Of course I'll admit if he was selfish and shooting them out of games then his scoring is misleading, but it didn't appear that way when I was watching them. But if that's the case then I see your point.

Let me give you an example in the reverse. Ledford and Rogers brought little to the Shox "skill-wise" in 05-06. But what they did bring was "priceless".

I believe the thinking is along the lines of releasing Terrel Owens from Philly, Dallas, San Francisco. Closer to home is Johnson being released by the Chiefs...ect. ect...some players can become distractions to the detriment of the team. The question is then was P a distraction..I think I defer to the Creighton fans and I think overwhelmingly they agree that he was a distraction that was keeping the team from performing up to their capabilities. Im sure there are CU fans that disagree but from what Ive seen the majority think he needed to be suspended. Time will tell
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

To be honest, taking P away from the team might be good from a locker room stand point, but they aren't going to be as good on the court. He was one of their top players and they don't really have anyone to pick up the slack. Hopefully this ensures a losing season for the Jays.

It is never good to have cancer. The quicker you remove it, the faster you can get better. CU let this one grow for to long.

            Better late than never!
