Aaron looks lost on the offensive end of the floor. His defense is solid and
he is rebounding but it is 4 on 5 for us on the offensive end."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

He's been steady and solid on defense all year. To me, he still earns his starting spot with his effort. He'll likely never be a big offensive threat, but is JUST skilled enough offensively to keep the other team honest and make them guard him. He's a team player and an asset to our line up.
Gabe's perfect coming off the bench. I mean, how many schools in our league can say they have a bench player with the kind of skills and effort he brings?

Aaron's been great all year. Sure, we would all like to see more offense, but he plays his heart out all the time and is one of the 2 best screeners on the team.
What he does for the team is invaluable.
There is no I in team.

Adam Koch had 11 points last night and played 30 minutes, 8 more than his average minutes. Of his 11 points, 4 were scored when Aaron was in the game.
I noted also that Eglseder played 34 minutes; his average is 22 minutes.
Thought our bigs did a marvelous job on those two in particular."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Great observations...you don't think both teams poured EVERYTHING into that game? UNI totally sold out to finish us off last night and end the race. Fortunately, it was not to be. They won't admit it, and they just might be strong enough (mentally and physically) to put it behind them and move forward, but it would not surprise me one bit to see them have problems this weekend. As much as both teams gave last night, losing could have long lasting implications.
That was a BIG TIME game last night that had meaning and passion. Both teams gave everything they had. Losing would have been extraordinarily painful.
It was and is a GREAT DAY TO BE A SHOCKER!

Just my two cents on AE. He is best offensively in the 8-12 foot range from the basket. He took a 3 from about 18 feet and off balance and air balled it. From there he kind of dissappeared. He does great things on the defensive end and as pointed out screens extremely well for his team mates.

If Aaron is ever a reliable scorer for this team some other player has fallen off the radar. He understands his role and plays it well. I don't think we'd be as good without him and I know we'd be worse if he was taking more shots.Wichita State, home of the All-Americans.
