Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

      • OK, I realize this is the pile on Dennis thread, but I've got to say a little in his defense. First, I have to agree with everyone that I thought his call on Monday was way over the top. I don't know what got into him. Although Dennis can be very annoying, I haven't found him to be down right negative like he was on that call. I wonder if there is something wrong with him like maybe he is in the early stages of Alzheimers or something?

My other thought is that, hey, at least he calls into the show! There must be at least 30 different posters on this thread, but I don't think there were more than three callers into the coaches show Monday night. Why is that? If nobody calls, we may not have a coaches in the future.

And, for the record: No, I'm not Dennis. No, I don't know Dennis, and No, I don't call the coaches show either...

          • Has anyone offered Amber as a possible color compromise? As in Amber waves of grain. Grain = wheat = wheat shockers!! I think this makes a lot of sense.

Long live the Amber and the Black!!

Oh Wichita, here's to you babe.

            • Amber makes me think of beer.

Which is NOT served at CKA.

              Mmmmmmmmmmm, beer...

I knew it didn't feel right or look right. But I've been so tired since I got up at 330 this morning I didn't care.

Looks like I missed a lot of them. Shame on me. I'll do more research on the vast political groups before joining the fray next time. :D

                            • He's probably trying to figure out how to connect his Tandy TRS-80 Model III to a phone line with one of those "cup" style modems like in War Games.

Not to trash the TRS-80 though - that is what I first learned to program on in 8th grade waaaaaaay back in 1982. My teacher was very impressed that I quickly figured out how to use string variables to "personalize" my little batting average calculator.

If only I had been smart enough to continue to be a tech geek, I might have become rich! But instead I chose to be a band geek, and that has led to, well, not poverty, but certainly not riches either.

Yes, you could have had all that yucky green stuff, but you would never have memorized every bar and note of Chuck Mangione's "Feels So Good."
