MVC office is going to have to reprimand them: "don't be so obvious next time."Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

wsu played terrible and deserved to lose. too little too late.
I'm not suggesting that we didn't play a horrible game and deserved to lose. Our FT shooting was atrocious.
But that is not my point. The point is WSU was not gonna be able to win this game. It was quite obvious.
I wish we could leave this crappy-ass league, but it ain't happening without football.Deuces Valley.

Originally posted by ShockerFeverOriginally posted by MaggieOriginally posted by ShockerFeverIf it wasn't obvious enough at the beginning of the game or the beginning of the second half or most certainly at the end, there was NO way these referees were going to let WSU win in Omaha. You could seriously tell they were on a mission to make sure it didn't happen.
One of the most obvious homer jobs I have ever witnessed. At least they could be somewhat more discrete about it.
Now you wonder why we haven't won there since Bush I's administration.
Regardless, in my judgment WSU lost this game.
As an aside, as I have written before (the obvious) – Hannah needs to be on the floor right now. His foul trouble caused significant problems.

HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say
I dont think there is a fix in but i agree it was pretty pathetic...1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

Worse than that though, the refs effectively took Hannah out of the game from the get go.
We got jobbed again.
Oh, I guess it also could be due to a conspiracy against the Shockers. It is certainly in the best interest of the MVC to keep the Shockers far away from success. Look how they have accomplished that goal in regards to our baseball team.

people have complained about the refs under every coach since scott thompson, and probably before that but i was too young, saying they are out to get wsu. this is a pretty large conspiracy theory that apparently dates back for decades. the fact of the matter is the valley should have wanted wsu to win today b/c it would help assure two teams getting into the tourney.
relax shockerfever, no one is out to get you or the shockers. you can take the tin foil down from your windows.
in terms of the league what better league is there for wsu to be in? the mountain west? that league is a joke, so is the wac. conference usa? pass. the valley is the best "mid-major" conference in the country imo.
