Just like their last Big East transfer....how's Millard doing again?
Don't know how Millard's play has been but he got into a pretty nice scuffle with Nick Evans of SIU last night. Evans got a nice shot to the face in on Millard and got a flagrant foul and was ejected. It was honestly the only thing that I noticed out of Millard all night, however, I'm sure he's just biding his time to begin his domination.

So, does that mean he has to sit out his next game?

It was Nick Evans from SIU that got the flagrant foul and was ejected. I don't think he has to miss the next game for SIU. I think that only happens for a major violation like flat out throwing a punch.

Yep, and it was more of "slap" than anything. They don't make players sit out for fighting like women, but then again, maybe they should.

According to the SIU board, it was not ruled a punch, and therefore there is no automatic 1-game suspension.

Lowery, however, has said that he might hold Evans out of their next game of his own choice as a disciplinary measure. (This apparently is not the first instance of Evans letting his temper get the best of him).

I think it will be safe to let Evans play against WSU. From what I saw of Evans last night, he seems really unlikely to want to tangle with any of WSU's front court players. Millard looked like just about his cup of tea.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Considered one of the top high school players in the nation — ESPN ranked him the No. 2 center nationally and the ninth-best prospect overall, while Scout.com had him rated the No. 9 center ....

Echenique turned in a strong freshman season for Rutgers in the tough Big East. He averaged 8.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. His rebounding average ranked fourth nationally among freshmen, while he was third in blocked shots per game.

The native of Guatire, Venezuela, was averaging 12.7 points and 7.7 rebounds in his first seven games as a sophomore

I don't know what it is but there is something missing to this story.

I'm going to guess he's as soft as down, but have no idea. Rutgers fans, from the very little I read, don't seem to be crushed which seems a little odd as well.

The detached retina isn't exactly fun. Hopefully the young man will fully recover.

All I'm saying is he left for a reason, and it wasn't to play tougher competition.

And do we have to have 2 threads on the front page that aren't spelled correctly in the title???!!!!
