MSU fan shoving Murry

I could be wrong, but having the presence of mind to shove Murry tells me he fully understood the "good guys, bad guys" dynamic of the event given the blowout score at the time. I suspect that if he's standing in the middle of the student section without a guardian then his disability is mild and he should know better. That goes double for the other student who helped with the shove.

I'm sure the MSU AD will handle it properly.

We really should cut the MSU fans some slack. I mean, you'd be pissed off too if you had to walk around without shoes in this weather.

I have a hard time with the "special" part. He absolutley knew what he was doing and proved it by taunting the refs. I know several "special needs" people. He didn't appear to be one of them.

I don't post on the msubearnation board but I read it. What they say about WSU fans cracks me up. There were 6 Shocker fans sitting in the area with me and all were very well behaved. Some of the younger MSU fans were pounding on the empty seats and yelling/cheering in our ears but it was all in good fun. I had a great conversation with several of the MSU fans around me and we all shook hands when it was over. I really had a great time.

There were a couple of WSU fans near the student section that were out of control. One old MSU geezer wadded up his popcorn bag and threw it at them hitting one of them in the back of the head. I found it pretty funny but also out of line. It's too bad that some people don't know when to say when.

MSU is a class program and I beleive that those two jerks will be dealt with. Every program has a few idiot fans. Too bad it makes all of the fans look bad.

The "out of control" fans were tormenting an older couple. The old dude finally got ticked enough to throw the popcorn bag. Like I said, it was funny. He shouldn't have thrown it though.

A few years ago when the Shocks came into SGF rated #8 and got beat, a drunk bear fan was screaming "over-rated, over-rated" in my ear and told my teenage daughter to "go to $%&*". I was already upset that we were losing. One of the MSU fans called security and he was escorted from the building. From that experience, I would say that, for the most part, MSU has pretty good fans and security.

Yeah they did pick the right guy to do this to I guess. But when I think about this team I'm pretty sure most of them would have remained poised and not lost their cool and retaliated. Maybe that crazy Stutz guy! :)

This incident goes beyond fan decorum and enters the realm of criminal infraction. This was a battery, plain and simple.

Someone needs to press charges against these clowns. The fact that MSU is pulling the all-time stroke job of "investigating the incident" when there's video evidence of two mooks perpetrating a criminal activity is maddening at best.

I hate to pull the "woe is me" card, but like Marshall said, if this happened in Koch, there would be a different follow up entirely. The Valley bias against WSU is getting old, if not patently obvious.
