  • I missed a lot of the first half so I had the game DVR'ed. That will be nice to go back and watch.

Don't know how much of the second half I'll torture myself with though..

But boy am I in a good mood. :good:

    • Why such a short thread? Only 38 pages?

      • Snapshot I guess I enjoyed this unacceptable win more than you did.

        • Another thing. I remember a home game in the MTXE era when we were ahead by 20 points and we lost. That is more unacceptable.

          • No, I really enjoyed this win, but there was no reason for it to be that close after being up 25 points in the 2nd half. We lost intensity, became a little sloppy, and the lead just melted away. We turned the ball over many times late in the 2nd half.

But, I do not think this win is any bigger, or as big, as the win over Texas Tech. We played a better complete game against Tech. Of course, since the Bears win is conference it becomes important.

I am still excited though, otherwise I would not be posting at 4:18 am in the morning...... LOL

            • All I can say is Wheeewww. I was scared there for a minute. Im glad we won. It was an important win. Now we need to focus on creighton. And I hope we "demolish" them. :)

That idiot should have been kicked out, what an embarrassment for our entire fanbase. We're all sorry about that.

The kid that did it is a special needs student at MSU and probably just freaked when a player came flying in at him, but that's really no excuse.

                • Ditto on the comment about a Juco point guard. When Clevin went out the offense stagnated.
If DW is going to be a division 1 point he needs to get better at penetration and dishing the rock.
His 3 to's in 9 minutes shows how much we will miss Clevin next year.
The back to back 3's by Graham and Clevin were nails and really won the game for the shox (oh ya a couple of Hatch ft's helped). :yahoo:

                  • Three road winners in the MVC last night but the Shocker's win is the most significant. It was over a team who most think are a contender. The Shocker's were underdogs. ISU red and UNI's were not surprising.

A huge victory which should solidify the belief that WSU will be in the race if UNI doesn't run away with it.

According to the MSU board, the kid (who is mentally challenged) gave TM a two-handed shove out of the student section. One of the posters there admitted to being a part of it. I assume he was in the immediate vicinity.

I drove down from Wichita for the game last night. To me it didn't look like a swing, but he definitely pushed/shoved TM. For a brief period the WSU bench was rightfully upset about it.

As an MSU fan, I would also like to apologize for the kids unacceptable behavior.

The outcome of the game wasn't what I had hoped for, but I think WSU had a lot to do with how poorly MSU looked in the first half. Great win for WSU and hopefully a good growth experience for MSU.

It appeared to me that the refs got caught up in the intensity also. It looked like some of the Shox misses maybe were infleuenced by a bit too much physicality, especially a couple of the point-blank misses. Overall though I thought the refs did a good job.

Thank you for that. I spotted that on TV and made a comment and I'm glad to see this kind of response from a Mo State fan.

I can think of at least a couple of WSU students that are mentally challenged. They are the same two that have been in the same seats for the last 12 years and somehow get shown on tv EVERY game. How can we pay the camera guy to ignore these two and not show them to a national audience. Really my IQ goes down about 10 points every time I see their faces flashed on tv or video screen. I don't have alot of spare points to play with here so we need to do something.

                              • just got home from Springfield, a few observations

-MSU has a nice arena, too bad they cant fill it with 12-3 team
-Im glad we held on, because me and my group were talking some nice PG smack :D
-I fell really good for the shocker fan behind me, he said he lives in Springfield.
-If we would have completely blew a 25 point lead, i would be really scared of their mind set going through the rest of the season
-I though Clevin was really great, and demetric was really bad.
-Bottom line is, we got a road valley win, i will take them any way i can get them.
