SubGod22--There comes a time when we all are worried. When you are NOT worried, many times, most of us are indeed worried, but should not be. Tonight, we were all worried and a loss with a 25 point lead would have sucked. A loss tonight would have been a melt down for ShockerNet zealots and also put a dent in the special Season we have shakin!!! Now we need to protect our needed Home wins--and what a better team to beat than Creighton!!!!!!!

No matter how much this victory leaves a bad taste in our mouth, it was a huge win. Looking at the remaining road wins, you take nothing for granted, but beyond UNI, all other road games are winnable if we just take care of business. Not being overly optimistic. Just looking at what is possible.
Having saild that we have a serious problem with these second half letdowns.

Yes sir there are. In our last 6 games, we allowed Tech to outscore us in the 2nd half by 12, North Dakota 3, Ill St 16 and SMS 16. I will take a win by 50 or by 1, but this is a trend that cost us a game at Ill St. and almost by SMS and Tech.Originally posted by shockmonster
